She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnson and Lillie Johnson; her brothers, Harry David Johnson and John M. Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Ray Secora, Jim Rassatt and Martha Mielke.
She is survived by: her husband Herman Epple; her daughters, Janelle Peart (Mike), Annette Hafla (Tony) and Colette Blanco (Cristian); her grandchildren, Nikki (Lexy Peart), Mahri (Nate Hafla), Agustin and Amanda (Antonio Blanco); her siblings, Dolly Secora, Lloyd Johnson (Orle), Roger Johnson (Donna), Janice Kieser (Joe), Evelyn Rassatt and Kenny Johnson (Nancy); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Johnson and Clara Iverson (Harold). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in Joni's name to Montrose United Methodist Church.
