He is survived by: his wife Darlene McClellan; his children, Brent McClellan (Annette), Michelle Painschab (Tim) and Teresa Kittock (Kyler); his grandchildren, Garret, Alyssa, Nathan, Hunter, Ariel, Ashley, Wyatt and Emmett; and his siblings, Michael McClellan (Julie), Alice Swenson, Janet Halderson (Gary) and Fred McClellan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Herman's name may be given to Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation Neuro ICU Unit.
