Vergil Putnam Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2021, at the age of 95, Vergil Putnam of Monticello, Minnesota, born in Waconia, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hildegard (Splettstoesser) and Albert Hedtke, Jr.; her husband Ellsworth Eugene Putnam (Gene) of Big Lake; her grandchildren, Tori and Vergie; her pet Meow Meow; her children, Kurt Putnam (Louis Gutierrez) of San Francisco and Tori Showalter (Michael) of Minnetonka; her granddaughters, Sophia and Nichole Showalter; and also Michael.
In her last two years of life, when she needed more care, Vergie lived at Sunrise of Minnetonka, at Tori's house during the summer of 2020 at the height of the pandemic, and finally at a small group home, Legacy Care Home of Minnetonka.
