She was predeceased by: her parents, Aveline Jung and Herbert Hames; her husband William J. Samsa; her siblings, Herbert Hames, Richard Hames and Mary Evans; and her son-in-law Daniel Lang.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Samsa, Donna Miliotis (David), Greg Samsa (Sandi Logeais), Jean Weborg (James) and Kathy Pruitt (Jeff); her grandchildren, Nick, Dan, Clara, Sophia, Ellen and Ben; her great grandchild August; and her siblings, Paul Hames, Jack Hames, Margaret Hudson (Pat) and Betty Berg (Bill). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
