She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Farnick and Alta Farnick (McEachern); her husband Walter Markling; her brothers, Willard and Peter; and her great grandchild Dylan Kokx.
She is survived by: her children, Kurt (Debra), Scott, Doug, Bruce (Jennifer), Kim and Kay Herzfeld (Brian); and her brother Rick Farnick (Sue). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren (1 on the way) and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Henry's Catholic Church (1001 E 7th St, Monticello, MN 55362). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
