She was predeceased by: her father John Ybarra (Michael); and her sister Anna Duffy. She is survived by: her mother Marie Ybarra; her husband Michael Taaffe; her friend Marie; her children, Lawrence (Leah), Erin (Allen), Gabrielle (Cole), Karen (Michael "Tay") and Jason; her grandchildren, Aleacia, MaKenzie, Keagan, Abrial, Eli, Maddox, Isaac and Atreyu; and her siblings, Cindy, Linda, John, Kimberly and Rose. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in Marie's name to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Minneapolis.
