With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Bertrand Ludwig of Monticello, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2024 at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Ludwig and Ellen Ludwig (Dooner); his sisters, Evelyn Saelens, Frances Eichten, Janet Estum Hilyar Sanchez and Phyllis Prahl; and his close friends, Melvin Gale, Sylvester Kronfuss and Dorothy Ebbing.
He is survived by: his nieces, Patty Culp (Fred) of Monticello and Mary White of Aitkin; and his nephew Steve Prahl of Morgan. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
