He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Menzel and Emma Menzel (Braun); and his brothers, Loren, Gary and Vern.
He is survived by: his children, Dan (Helen) of Monticello and Suzanne Christian (Chris) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Conor and Torin Christian; his brother Rollie Menzel (Gretchen) of Wyoming, Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Menzel of Laguna Niguel, California and Ted Kopff (Gloria) of Monticello.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church (413 3rd St E, Monticello, MN 55362).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in Karl's name to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church ~ Monticello or the charity of donor's choice.
