He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Johnson and Dena Johnson (Sunderland); his wife Nancy Harmon; his sister Joyce Dobson; his nephew Allen Dobson; and his brothers-in-law, Alvin Harmon (Betty), David Harmon and Donald Olsen.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Carol Olsen of Staples, MN and Carrie Harmon of Clearbrook, MN. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
He provided piano music daily to staff and residents until he lost the ability with a bout of COVID.
