With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Faye Hanson of Monticello, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janice Faye Hanson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norvel Johnson and Betty Johnson; and her parents-in-law, Vernon and Betty Hanson. She is survived by: her husband Richard Alan Hanson; her sons, Steven (Laurie) of Monticello and Mark (Deanna) of Pine City; her grandchildren, Erick Hanson (Alex), Sadie Wilkes (Austin), Matthew Hanson and Samantha Soriano (Gabe); and her siblings, Delmar (Jan) of Fairbanks, AK, Dale of Wilmar, MN, David (Roxy) of Walker, MN and Nancy Hannasch (Keith) of Monticello. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel (250 W Broadway St, Monticello, MN 55362). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
