He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene (Strand); his parents, Willmar and Muriel; his siblings, Garryl and Verla (Lyrek); and his grandson Austin.

He is survived by: his sons, Curtis (Robyn), Craig and David (Tami); and his siblings, Willis, Mylen, Marlette (Babatz), Arlynn, Gerlene (Klingelhoets), Orlan and Dorlyn. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many more relatives and friends.
