He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl (Bruce), Kathleen, Sandra, Michele, Andrea and Roxanne Potvin (Bill); his grandchildren, Michael Saima, Tremaine Woodson (Alaura), Erik Saima (Danielle), Alisha Eberhart (Mitch) and Rachel Woodson (Josh); his great grandchildren, Judah Saima and Jordan Saima; and his sisters, Viola Barklow (Ron) and Judy Berry (Chris). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Dear Surviving Family of Dave, Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your dad and grandfather. I always enjoyed visiting him when at your place north of Anoka. He was always busy fixing things, especially Kate's car. I don't think he charged her enough for his service. I also appreciated his interest in quality firearms. That gave us lots to talk about.
