Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Jean Lauer of Monticello, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 81, on February 8, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Chase and Mildred Chase (Sewell); her sister Gerri Johnson; and her former husband Martin M. Holum. She is survived by: her husband Lance L. Lauer; her children, Marty Holum (Heather), Lisa Honney (Robert), Joshua Lauer and Chelsie Zahn (Sonny); her grandchildren, Jessica Holum, Chase Holum, Wyatt Beyerl and Walker Beyerl; and her brother John "Shorty" Chase (Renee). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that were considered daughters, and sons; and many friends.
