She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Simon (Machacek) and Henry Simon; her husband Melvin Hinderscheit; and her brothers, Henry Simon and Ted Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Joanie, Mary Thielke of Marshall, David Hinderscheit (Joan) of Northfield and Joey Hinderscheit of New Prague; and her siblings, Les Simon (Darlene) of Blaine, Angela Whipps of Le Center, Myles Simon (Bev) of Montgomery and Jim Simon (Ann) of New Prague. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
