With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Marie Barta of Montgomery, Minnesota, who passed away on December 3, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Tupy and Julia Tupy (Machacek); her husband Stanley B Barta; and her brother Richard J Tupy. She is survived by: her children, Allan Barta (Gail) of Eagan, David Barta (Lucy) of New Prague, Monica Odenthal (Ken) of New Prague, Anita Rynda (Chuck) of Montgomery and Paula Novak (Todd) of Montgomery; her grandchildren, Michael Meschke, Chris Meschke (Nicole), Mark Rynda (Daniel), Megan Brockway, Carrie Rynda, Emily Barta, Daniel Barta (Lauren) and Maggie Nicolin (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Luke Brockway, Joe Brockway, Calli Meschke and Emma Nicolin; and her sisters, Mary, Josie Ploetz (John), Belle Plaine and Judy Courrier.
