She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ehlers and Catherine Ehlers (Schmitz); her siblings, Evelyn, Frances Benkovics, Edwin, John, Alvin, Paul and Earl; her husband Joe; and her son Myron Malecha.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie Malecha (Mel) of New Prague and Gary (Linda) of Portland, Oregon; her daughter-in-law Cathy of Isanti; her grandchildren, Steve Chesney, Lisa Thomas (Matthew), Joe (Stephanie), Matthew (Jennifer), Craig (Lia) and Scott Malecha (Sherry); her stepgrandson Eric Odegaared; her great grandchildren, Erinne Chesney, Carter, Colin and Julianne Malecha; and her sister-in-law Ludy Malecha of Princeton.
