He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Meger and Julia Meger (Plonski); his wife Gertrude Meger; his siblings, Ambrose, Francis, Denny, Paul Jr., Jimmy, George, Cecilia Giesen and Patricia Proctor; and his great grandchildren, Catherine Olson and Angelo Querubin.
He is survived by: his children, Connie VonBank (Greg) of Montgomery, Maureen Busse (John) of Belle Plaine, Bev Wagner (Terry) of Webster, Rick Meger (Lori) of Le Center, Pete Meger (Barb) of Belle Plaine, Judy Olson (Brett) of New Prague, JoAnne Maruska (Paul) of New Prague, Chuck Meger of St. Thomas, Mary Dooley (Dave) of Lonsdale and Bill Meger (Lisa) of St. Thomas; his sister Theresa McNamara of Bloomington; and his sister-in-law Mary Meger of Prior Lake. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donors choice.
