He is survived by: his spouse Kim Boreen; his children, Chad Ehmke, Kim Cartwright and Jeff Ehmke (Pickell); his grandchildren, Sidney, Evan, Shafer, Soren, Mark Ehmke and April Hubert; his brother-in-law Frank Pflaum; and his pet Girlie.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the NRA.
