He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Turek and Ananastasia Turek (Landa); and his sister Rita Snorek. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Turek (Sirek) of Montgomery; and his children, Susan Pan (Tim) of Montgomery, Shelly Janda (Peter) of Edina, Pam Schloesser (Tim) of Le Center and David Turek (Jennifer) of Montgomery. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Lewy-Body Dementia Association.
