It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Jakes Sr. of Montgomery, Minnesota, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeline Jakes (Kuzel) and James Jakes; and his brother Robert "Bobby". He is survived by: his former wife Irene Spoor; his children, Sandra Sticha of Faribault, Marvin Jr. Jakes (Mary) of Montgomery, David Jakes (Cindy) of Montgomery, Steven Jakes of Williston, ND. and Kenneth Jakes of Montgomery; and his sister Dorothy Kaderlik of Lonsdale. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
