He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgerton Choudek and Ramona Choudek (Ruhland); his wife Nanette Swan; his children, Codi Dvorak (David) and Kari Swan; his grandchildren, Tanner, Owen, Morgan Dvorak, Erin Leisenheimer (Calvin), Taylor, Jordan Reichel, Theodore, Tyson and Brooklynn Francis; his close friend Michele Calvo of Montgomery; his siblings, Cindy Gregor (Bob) of Chaska, Laurie Thoresen (Kevin) of Shakopee, Paul Choudek (Julie) of Brandon, SD., Nancy Maxa (Mike) of Le Center, Dan Choudek (Mickey) of Prior Lake, Becky Smisek (Steve) of New Prague and Eric Choudek (Jessica) of Bloomington; and his stepfather Mike McGuire. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Holy Redeemer School or Montgomery Community Foundation.
