It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Carl Svoboda (Montgomery, Minnesota), who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Svoboda and Elizabeth Svoboda (Schultz); his stepfather Bill Tiede; his brother Reuben; his siblings-in-law, Carol Svoboda and Larry (Janet Schultz); his nephews, Bruce Bohnsack and Wayne Svoboda; and his close friend Ed Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Schultz; his children, Jeff of Jordan, Jenn Fogle (Rich) of Seattle and Joy (Kurt Dvorak) of Montgomery; his sister Bernice Bohnsack (Wayne) of California; his stepsiblings, Patsy Tiede Lande and Leroy Tiede; his nieces, Brenda Hansen of California, Ruth Hoefs of Le Center, Kathy Thun of Belle Plaine and Laurie Kolstad of Morristown; his grandsons, Benjamin, Nathan (Lisa), Jacob (Leah) and Lukas Kubinski (MarLee); his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Dvorak and Genevieve Dvorak Stockwell (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Sofia, Madison, Milo, Rurik, Sitrik, Tytin Kubinski, Stella, Nora, Jace Ferch and Adler Stockwell.
Memorials preferred to the family to be disbursed among community organizations Lloyd was actively involved in.
