James Truman Cotten Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2016, at the age of 77, James Truman Cotten (Montgomery, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cotten and Cora Cotten (Davidson); his sons, Allen Cotten and E. J. Cotten; and his sisters, Alta Wilcox, Kathryn Farris, Marie Redin and Eva Jensen.
He is survived by: his former wife Janet Christensen; his wife Jan Cotten of Montgomery; his son Steven Cotten (Shari) of Rosemount; his stepdaughter Jill Downey (Bryan) of Denver, Colorado; his granddaughters, Kristine Cotten and Evelyn Downey; and his brother-in-law Gary Hert (Pat) of Columbia. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Pediatric Brain tumor Foundation in Ashville, NC or the Shetek Lutheran Ministries in Slayto, MN.
