She was predeceased by: her parents, William Turek and Anna Turek (Hanek); her husband Edward Filipek; her son William Filipek; her former husband Edward Kohout; and her brothers, Milo Turek and Ray Janovsky.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Blank (Bill) of Montgomery, Sharon Koralesky of Fridley and Bonnie Pint (Ken) of Jasper, Georgia; and her sister-in-law Rosella Janovsky. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
