He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph and Frances (Fehring); and his siblings, Wilbur, Bernie, Lois, Jane, Don, Rudy Jr. Clarence and Alyce.
He is survived by: his son Gary Dorweiler (Michelle) of New Prague; his grandson Luke Andrew Dorweiler of New Prague; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Henry and Jace.
