He is survived by: his wife Jill; his children, Tony Thesing (Christa) of Andover, MN, Nate Borchardt (Dani) of West Fargo, ND, Nikki Borchardt of West Fargo, ND and Nolan Borchardt of Montgomery, MN; his brothers, Brian Borchardt of Le Center, MN, Lynn Borchardt (Lori) of Faribault, MN and Billy Borchardt (Becky) of Le Center, MN; his grandchildren, Thomas Thesing and Brooks Borchardt; and his pet Lily. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
