He was predeceased by: his parents, William Macziewski and Lena Macziewski (Borchardt); and his siblings, Alvin Macziewski, Lorence Macziewski, Mabel Joyce and Ernest Macziewski.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his children, Mark Macziewski (Karen) of Gold Canyon, AZ, Keith Macziewski (Judy) of Sioux City, IA, Paula Stillions of Montevideo, MN, Larry Macziewski (Laurie) of Rapid City, SD, Glen Macziewski (Kim) of Garretson, SD, Jon Macziewski (Denise) of Fairmont, MN and Joel Macziewski (Yvonne) of Custer, SD. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar St. Joseph Catholic Church (512 Black Oak Ave, Montevideo, MN 56265).
