We bid farewell to Robert Kurtzbein of Montevideo, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 8, 2025 at the age of 75. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Kurtzbein and Jean Kurtzbein (Botten); his niece Karla Hagen; his in-law Marlowe Skogrand (Mildred); and his siblings-in-law, Ron Wollschlager, Ed Hagen, Dick Skogrand and Julie Roder.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Montevideo); his sons, Jason Kurtzbein (Tracy) of Montevideo and Matt Kurtzbein (Nicole) of Cottage Grove; his grandchildren, Averie, Quinn, Payton and Blake; his siblings, John Kurtzbein (Marge) of Montevideo, Connie Wollschlager of Montevideo and Janice Hagen of Bloomington, MN; his brother-in-law Dean Skogrand (Connie) of Cottonwood, MN; and his close friend Tom Ryman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Our Saviors Lutheran Church (222 N 5th St, Montevideo, MN 56265).
