With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Weckwerth of Montevideo, Minnesota, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Weckwerth and Marie Weckwerth (Gruchow); his brother Dale Weckwerth; his siblings-in-law, Steve Bloch and Kathy Weckwerth; and his parents-in-law, Lyla Livingston and Weldy Hodge (Deanna).
He is survived by: his wife Carmen (Hodge); his children, Rita Bahr (Doug) of Sanborn, MN, Cealy Eckberg (Andy) of Bemidji, MN, Heather Jacksen (Bruce) of Bemidji, MN and Josh Weckwerth (Cassie) of Montevideo, MN; his grandchildren, Breana Lund (Ed), Kody Bahr, Holden Eckberg, Brooklynn Eckberg, Bailie Zylka, Alexa Zylka, Trent Weckwerth and Hanna Pouliot; and his siblings, Neal Weckwerth of Cottonwood, MN, Milt Weckwerth (Kathie) of Park Rapids, MN and Judy Bloch of Montevideo, MN. He is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM. A prayer was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Calendar Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home of Montevideo (629 N 3rd St, Montevideo, MN 56265). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Calendar United Methodist Church (731 S 11th St, Montevideo, MN 56265).
