He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hoidal and Sina Hoidal; and his siblings, Bernard Hoidal, Marilyn Keefe and Edith Hoidal.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hoidal; his children, Scott Hoidal of Montevideo and Sandy Luecke (Jan) of Eagan; his grandchildren, Quinn Hoidal, Mackenzie Hoidal (Colin Bossuyt), Justin Luecke, Alyssa Van Wyk (Jake) and Taylor Luecke (Tyler Urness); his great grandchild Crimsyn Bossuyt; and his siblings, Milton Hoidal (Eileen) of Montevideo and Erma Hokins of Montevideo.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Montevideo VFW Post 380 (570 S 1st St, Montevideo, MN 56265).
