She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Palmer; her parents, Harold Nelson and Frances Nelson; her father-in-law William; her siblings, David Nelson, LaVere Andersen and Darlene Andersen (Nelson); and her brothers-in-law, Irwin Andersen and Marvin Andersen.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Micah Palmer (Cody) of Pierre, SD, Becka Bratsch (Brian) of Clara City, MN, Sydney Hammerich (Zach) of Fargo, ND and Kylee Kimpling of Clara City, MN; her great grandchild Palmer Bratsch; and her siblings-in-law, Marlin Andersen of Avoca, Iowa, Tim Palmer (Mary) of Missouri Valley, IA, Margie Nelson of Dexter, MN, Connie Andersen of Elk Horn, IA, Scott Palmer (Madeline) and Bonnie Palmer of Le Mars, IA.. She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews and their spouse.
