He is survived by: his girlfriend Patty Hahn; his children, Jacque Peters (Terry), Andy Moon (Lisa) of Creighton, SD, Jenece Diedrich (Jesse) and JT Moon (Jami) of Creighton, SD; his grandchildren, Mattison Dirksen (Glenn), Phillip Peters (Nicole), Macy Mills (Tucker), Elle Moon, Abby Pelton (Hayden), Quinn Moon, Joseph Diedrich, Charlie Diedrich, Lucy Moon, Emmy Moon, Johnny Moon and Ole Moon; his great grandchildren, Stella Dirksen, Mo Dirksen, Stevie Dirksen, Georgia Peters, Beau Peters, Josie Mills, Sylvia Mills and Ada Pelton; his sister Christine Dostal (Denny); his nephew Jeff (Lori); his niece Deborah (Robert) of Omaha, NE; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan and Lilyanne.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Trinity Lutheran Church (220 S 13th St, Montevideo, MN 56265).
