He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lund and Agnes Lund (Kittelson); his daughter Susan Lund; his sister Arlene Jerve; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Olson, Wally Olson, David Olson, John Dyshaw and Marvin Jerve; and his parents-in-law, Art and Tillie Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Olson; his children, Kathy Lindemann (Brad) of Montevideo, Terri Vien (Chuck) of Montevideo and Michael Lund (Dee) of Montevideo; his grandchildren, Cameron Vien (Meghan), Colton Vien, Tyson Lund (Kalli) and Kaylee Lund; his great grandchildren, Cora, Caden and Conner Vien; and his sister Lois Dyshaw. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (222 N 5th St, Montevideo, MN 56265). A prayer will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home (629 N 3rd St, Montevideo, MN 56265).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials to Centra Care Hospice, Our Savior's Lutheran Church Senior Lites or Our Savior's Lutheran Church Youth Programs.
