She was predeceased by: her parents, Norwegian and Melvin (Petra Grinager); her husband Donald Ruether; and her siblings, Mildred, Helmer, Benny, Palmer, LuVerne and Gerald.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Ward (Rick), Brad (Wendy) and Brian (Patty); her grandchildren, Melissa, Brandon, Ryan, Reid, Cody, Andrea, Rachel and Peter; her great grandchildren, Camden, Maci, Cayson, Jaxton and Maxwell; and her sisters, Alice Beattie, Helen Hutt and Ruby Pacheco (Ed). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
