He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Ward and Esther Ward (Wittmier); and his brother Dale Ward. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Neuhart; his sons, Jamie Ward of Montevideo, Daniel Ward (Brianna) of Montevideo, William Ward (Katie Pollman) of Montevideo, Aron Gilb (Jessica) of Clarkfield and Artie Chapa (Willow) of Prior Lake, MN; his grandchildren, Hailee, Kingsley Ward, Vanessa, Marissa and Aubrey Gilb; and his sisters, Val Blommel (Ken), Laurie Bluhm (Phil), Dona Ward and Sandy Van Binsbergen (Dean). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
