He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Jacob Schmidt and Jenna Western; his siblings, Dean and Jody Rasmussen; his mother-in-law Joyce Schmidt; and his siblings-in-law, John (Pat), Bruce (Shirl), Bill Schmidt (Fern), Sharon Daniels (Gary) and Shirley Klitzke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
