She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Schwartz and Sadie Schwartz; her husband Sam Mekler; and her siblings, Phil Schwartz, Ann Sher, Ida Weinblatt, Sari Rosenfeld and Esther Schwartz.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Mekler (Sara), Gregg Mekler and Sheri Sherling (Glenn); her grandchildren, Dana, Amanda, Zach, Wyatt, Josh (Lizzy), Ryan (Allison) and Joseph; and her great grandchild Shayden.
