He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clyde and Margaret Clyde (Henry); and his stepfather Francis (Beverly). He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his daughters, Melissa Smith (Christopher), Amanda Abel (Matthew), Sarah Sundell (Travis) and Kimberly Clyde; his siblings, Margaret (Peg), Keefe (Steve Williamson), Mary Katherine (Kitty), Pallanch (John), James O'Keefe (Michelle), Connie O'Keefe, Daniel O'Keefe (Cyndie) and Deborah O'Keefe; his grandchildren, Autumn Dodd (Josh), Kaitlyn, Zachary, Caleb, Rebekah, Elijah and Naomi Smith; his siblings, Ava, William Abel, Hailey Pisarski, Lincoln, Olivia Sundell, Emma, Savanah Clyde, Kaylee, Neveah and Jayla Craig; and his great grandchild Magnolia Dodd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Washburn-McReavy Hopkins Chapel (1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343). A procession was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Assembly Area. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
