She was predeceased by: her husband Warren. She is survived by: her daughter Nicole (Stacy Gomke); her grandsons, William, Samuel and Nathaniel; her daughter Erin (Jon Marlier); her grandchildren, Sophie and Ethan; and her sister Graceann Wendland. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to support Trinity First School in north Minneapolis, a mission effort close to Ruth's heart.
