He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hagen and Harriette Hagen (Jorgenson); his son Mark; his siblings, Ronald, David, Joanne Carver and Yvonne Larson; and his brothers-in-law, Rudy Larson and Gordy Benson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen June Hegland of Savior's Lutheran Church; his son Daniel (Jan) of Wheaton, IL; his daughter-in-law Deana of Chaska, MN; his grandchildren, Brendan (Anna), Lauren, Morgan, Griffin, Daniel (Maggie), Erika and Darby; and his sister-in-law Judy Hagen of Mcintosh, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
