She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Hanson and Graham Hopkins; her husband Richard Nelson; her close friend Joe Loesch; her stepparents, Melvin and Alvira Hanson; her stepsister Elizabeth Marshall; and her aunt Darlene Zosel.
She is survived by: her children, Doreen Hopps (Mark), Greg Nelson (Jill) and Doug Nelson (Jill); her grandchildren, Jeff, Justin, Derrek, Holly and Brett; and her stepsisters, Cindy, Sheila and Tami. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
