She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her parents, John Hartmann and Mary Hartmann. She is survived by: her sisters, Kathleen Hartmann and Mary Hartmann (Billie Wahlstrom); her close friend Patricia Flanagan; and her nieces and nephews, Molly Ritchie (Annie Bulbulian Wells), David Yunger (Lisette), Peggy Flanagan (Tom Weber), Julie Hartmann and Misha Wahlstrom (Nechama). She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Minnesota DFL Party or the Alzheimer's Association.
