She was predeceased by: her husband Andy; her parents, Albert Nelson and Louise Nelson; her brothers, Roger, Wayne and Jim; and her daughter Heather.
She is survived by: her children, Andy Peacock (Leesa) and Jennifer Weisz (Theron); her grandchildren, Kirsten, Neal, Camden and Nolan; and her friend Enid. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends memorial contributions be sent to the ALS Foundation.
