It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Lillian Volkert of Minnetonka, Minnesota, born in Carver, Minnesota, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Fred Heinen and Lillian Heinen; and her brother Earl Heinen. She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Volkert, Kristin Torborg (Tom) and Susan Piazza (Jim); her grandchildren, Tyler (Catherine), Jack, Tommy, Samuel, Francesca and Gianna; and her sister-in-law Iris Heinen. She is also survived by nephews; cousins, and many friends.
