John Lewis Kokesh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Lewis Kokesh of Minnetonka, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his close friend Mary Souba; his parents, William T. and Margaret S.; his brothers, William J. and Paul F.; and his sister-in-law Carole Kokesh.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Frances Kokesh; his nieces and nephews, Margaret Ann Gibson (James), David Kokesh, Michael Kokesh (Maureen), Tim Kokesh (Anna), Karen O'Hara (Mike), Paula Hare (Don), Cathy Kokesh and Michael Paul Kokesh (Aimee); his cousin Sue Layton; and his close friend Amy Denzen. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (13505 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55345). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (13505 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55345).
