He is survived by: his mother June Nelson (Von Bank) of Fairmont, Minnesota; his sons, Andrew Penkaty (Shantel) of International Falls, Derick Nelson (Debbie Rodriguez) of St. James and Devon Nelson (Monica Perales) of Truman; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Hunter, Debra, Aubrey Kimberly and Ava; his siblings, Jami Thompson (Mike) of Welcome and Jeff Nelson (Michelle) of Fairmont; and his close friend Randy Kaneshiro of Hilo, Hawaii. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Social distancing will be observed and mask are required.
