He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sweet and Ida Sweet; his brothers, Douglas, Jack and Conrad Sweet; his sisters-in-law, Elaine and Annette; and his parents-in-law, Dr. Jerry, Pauline Kaufman, Annette and Burt Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Kaufman; his children, Bette Jo Siegel (Loren), Linda Victor (Stephen Mitzner), Jonathan Sweet (Lisa) and Carol Nichols (Frank); his grandchildren, Robert Victor (Lauren), Frankie Nichols, Jamie Nichols, Hannah Sweet, Dina Sweet, Marc Mitzner (Casita), Julie Rubin (Paul) and Allison Mitzner Schulder; his great grandchildren, Henry, Lia, Penn, Serena and Eva; and his parents-in-law, Alvin and Audrey Kaufman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.
