He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Lahti and Lillian Lahti (Sironen); his brother LeRoy; his wife Beatrice; his children, Kathy Burcar (Keith), David Lahti (Jeanne Kohlhaas) and Joyce Smith (Greg); his grandchildren, Brian Swanke, Michelle Petersen, Linse Lahti, Cory Smith (Dacia) and Joseph Lahti (Rachel); and his great grandchildren, Trey Petersen, Brennin Smith, Elliot Smith and Harper Wilson.
