He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gaas and Josephine Gaas Brown (Strait); his stepfather Arvy Brown; and his wife Carole Gaas. He is survived by: his daughter Tami Klein; his son-in-law Loren Klein; his grandchildren, Nolan Klein and Elizabeth Klein; his sister Betty Prudhon; and also, Janice Post and Sharon Tellers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ernest Gaas may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or charity of choice.
