She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels (Andrea Berkland) and Norwegian; her husband James Hansen; her son Jerry Hansen; and her grandson Alexander Hansen.

She is survived by: her son Eric Hansen (Lisa); her grandchildren, Ryan Hansen (Kelly Schwartz), Jessica Hedberg (Vaughn) and Victoria Hansen; and her sister Verna Cochran (Russ). She is also survived by four great grandchildren; and more than 40 nieces and nephews.
